CRAP. This is a polite term which describes how I feel about aliens from
outer space, and every other associated topic.
But before I tear into this topic and put my opinion out there to be jeered
at, let me tell you, my readers, a true story about this very topic.
One summer night when I was about seven or so my parents had some friends
over and we were all perched on the front porch and I sat and listened as various topics were kicked around and the b.s. flowed
like the nile.
One of the group noticed something moving in the west. The object then appeared
to hover above my neighbor's house just across the street. What at first looked to be a single light turned out to be three
lights in a triangular pattern and they all just hovered in one spot.
Now, anyone reading this will be asking how much drinking was going on. There
were a few beers tossed back by the adults, but most seven year olds don't get plastered, at least not in front of their parents.
Anyway the lights stayed in place with no wavering or sound for probably thirty seconds then gone. it was like someone just
turned off a switch.
Now, to this day I do not believe that we witnessed some kind of extraterrestrial
scout visiting to determine if we are hostile or friendly or if they were here to see if the earth is worth invading or not.
Or to see if we are timid and would scatter like ants under a flashlite.
We all saw something and I don't think any of us has a good explanation as
to what it was. But none of us tried to communicate with it. And no one grabbed the Reynolds wrap and put foil on our heads
for better reception.
Depending on the individuals interpretation, I say we are not alone in this
universe. GOD is out there and with Him he has His angels and saints, and followers from the time of Adam. We all have to
go somewhere when we pass away. Heaven or hell are the only current options available. So based on this, no, we are not alone
in the universe.
As far as the bug eyed, green, multi-limbed aliens with the superior intelligence
and lousy flight skills, they do not exist. And if they do they may want to start sending better pilots when they plan to
spy or abduct us. Because all this crashing, and being spotted while in the middle of a covert operation seems pretty stupid
for an advanced alien race.
If the aliens visiting us are so smart, then why don't they just spy on us
from a safe distance? I mean why risk detection or crashing their new YurAnus 3000 with power glide, when they can spy on
us from space? It does not make sense for these "beings" to even enter our atmosphere and risk detection if they have the
caspabilities to spy on us from a duck blind on the dark side of the moon where we can't see them. And of course these beings
have to be that sophisticated since they can travel freely in the depths of space, right?
Why people choose to believe in alien life is not entirely a mystery. Most
people have little or no faith and need to actually see something before they can believe it exists. Over the years various
cultures have created gods in their own image. Look at Egypt for example, their gods have animal heads. Did these gods speak
or bark their wishes to their followers?
I think it is total nonsense but these gods are a staple of Egyptian culture.
And the pyramids themselves are evidence that the Egyptians spent much time looking to the stars.
